Creating a pattern is not always an easy task 😊

On the one hand is the designer with his creative thought and on the other hand is the pattern maker with his mathematical attitude.
The first prototype is usually made from a very basic fabric and without a precise finish on the item, the idea is to
achieve the main fit of the garment.

Very often several prototypes need to be made to achieve this.
Before sewing a sample of the main fabric, it is necessary to check its shrinkability during moisture-heat treatment,
as well as the behavior of the fabric during washing and drying.

After we have specified all the details and sewn a sample of the main fabric, we need to test it in the environment
in which it is intended to be used.

Here comes the time for sizes…

Let’s talk a bit about sizes.😊

How do we guide our customers correctly what their size is?!

It is important to start from the fact that each geographic region has its peculiarities, which are typical for the respective region.
They affect our height and horizontal measurements.

Of course, this does not mean that all people are the same, but if we want to offer our clothes in this geographical area, it is very important
to take into account these peculiarities.

For example, the standard sizes “S, M, L, XL,…” in Asia and in Europe correspond to completely different measurements.

For this reason, your online store should always have a Body measurement table and a diagram that clearly shows how we can measure them ourselves.

It is very important as well to give clearly the measurements of the photo model who represents the garment
and what size garment the model is wearing.

This table is different from the measurement table that we manufacturers work with. The tables we work with are created specifically
for each model, they are the main “tool” of the designer.
